Ignacio Lopez’s work draws from alchemical illustrations and the Japanese concept of Ma—the space or pause between two structural points. Through this lens, he explores shape, rhythm, and balance to create compositions that bridge tradition and abstraction. A participant in the Monmade x CDCP small business program, Ignacio expands his studio, Alchemic Print, through Green Leap with a new series of bold geometric prints on wood panels.
Alchemic Print’sNine Forms Wood Print Series is a modular collection of bold geometric prints. Each of the nine designs is available in three color palettes and printed on square wood panels, designed for versatile display in residential or commercial settings. Panels can be arranged within a single palette or mixed across colorways to suit any composition.
Alchemic Print, Nine Forms Wood Print Series, Interior Mock-up Featuring Multiple Designs (No. 1, 2, 5, 8, 9), Morning Garden (used in asymmetric arrangement).
The Nine Forms Wood Print Series is printed on responsibly sourced Baltic birch panels using a low-waste digital process within 15 miles of the artist’s Pittsburgh studio. Each 11.5” x 11.5” panel features one of nine original designs and includes consistently spaced Z-clips on the back for easy, secure, grid-style installation. Finished with archival-quality, low-VOC inks, the series balances durability with design intention—offering a modular art solution for residential, commercial, or hospitality interiors.
Alchemic Print, Nine Forms Wood Print Series, Available in Three Colorways: Bauhaus (left), Morning Garden (middle), and Recollect (right).
Available in three distinctive colorways—Bauhaus, Morning Garden, and Recollect—the collection invites a range of expression. Bauhaus delivers bold contrast and graphic structure through deep blues, saturated reds, and strong neutrals. Morning Garden evokes softness and balance with moss greens, muted purples, and gentle pinks. Recollect leans warm and nostalgic, combining earthy ochres and sun-faded tones for a quieter visual rhythm. The modular format supports a wide range of installations, from minimal pairings to expansive wall compositions, whether organized within a single palette or mixed across colorways.
Rooted in symbolism, spatial rhythm, and sustainable practice, Nine Forms reflects Alchemic Print’s unique ability to merge artistic meaning with functional versatility.
