"We pride ourselves on delivering unmatched aesthetics and function through elevated style and ruthless attention to detail."
Bones and All is a full-service design and woodworking studio specializing in custom design and fabrication for home, hospitality, and retail environments. The studio’s refined, Arts and Crafts-inspired work includes small and large production furniture and fixtures. Founded by Zak Kruszynski in 2012, Bones and All grew from a one-person operation to include his business and wife, Kelsey Henson. Zak left a job in graphic design to pursue his passion. Zak and Kelsey apply their knowledge of wood working and appreciation of salvaged and sustainable materials to produce distinctive furniture.
Bones and All uses reclaimed lumber in fresh and modern ways, as well as sustainably harvested, regionally available wood. Their pieces speak to the history of these time-honored materials. Built with quality, domestic woods, their finished furniture is beautiful and made to last. Zak and Kelsey pride themselves on delivering unmatched aesthetics and function through elevated style and attention to detail. They currently produce custom work on commission for private and commercial clients. Past commissions include barstools, benches, sofa and coffee tables, custom retail displays, cafe and dining tables, shelving, and credenzas.
With the help of two assistants, this expert shop has the capacity to design and build a variety of furniture customized to match a client’s needs and personal style. Bones and All’s furniture and fixtures are sought after by clients including the Ace Hotel Pittsburgh in East Liberty and Madewell stores. Bones and All look forward to growing its design and prototyping services, while continuing to make custom furniture.
