Formally established in 2016, Jenna Vanden Brink Ceramics offers handmade, functional ceramic wares. Building on her formal academic training and experience as a non-profit ceramics program manager, Jenna spent seven years refining her current line of home goods and wearables. Her style is versatile, and her ceramics feature drawings ranging from loose sketches of fruits and vegetables to detailed floral patterns. Handmade from start to finish at her Sharpsburg, PA studio, each piece in Jenna’s collection exhibits subtle whimsy in a modern way.
Crafted using a combination of hand-building and wheel throwing techniques, every piece in the Jenna Vanden Brink Ceramics collections are hand painted and carved to create pottery and wearables with integrity and charm. Jenna offers an earthenware collection and a porcelain collection of everyday pots, which include cups, bowls, plates and serving pieces. Additionally, her more recent line of porcelain jewelry offers simple, modern, and unique wearable pieces.
Jenna currently shares a studio space with fellow Monmade featured ceramicists Reiko Yamamoto and Keith Hershberger. Today, Jenna enjoys making beautiful everyday objects, from simple stud earrings to a favorite coffee mug. She aims to grow her collection to include a wider variety of useful home goods. While primarily focused on creating her own products, Jenna is open to collaboration with individual and business clients to create custom products beyond her current collections.
