Stacked Up Cherry Chair

Constructed of reclaimed solid hardwood, this artful chair features cherry cut offs stacked, glued, then shaped with a 4/8” highly distressed cherry seat. Handcrafted by Burghwood, this is a one-of-a-kind furniture piece that can be similarly replicated using available wood types to meet client specifications.

Burghwood’s furniture echoes Craftsman style with contemporary spin. Using exclusively rescued wood, including kiln samples and dormant lumber, carpenter Keith Loughrey thoughtfully develops each of Burghwood’s refined designs. Working with clients to fulfill custom designs, Keith first develops a drawing or small scaled model. From there, he handpicks the wood based on grain, mineral deposits, and shade variations to bring distinctive character to each finished piece.

The chair shown measures 21”W x 31”H x 27”D and weighs approximately 18lbs. Pricing available upon request.
