Waterhouse Pottery’s Seed Pendant is a warm, sculptural lighting fixture designed to bring a sense of grounded beauty to residential and commercial interiors. With its softly curved, asymmetrical form, it evokes natural contours and offers a calming, organic presence.

Each ceramic shade is handcrafted in small batches by artist Alexandra Watrous, using reclaimed speckled clay. Finished with a subtle satin matte glaze—available in Speckled White, Sage Green (shown here), or Nutmeg Brown—the surface highlights the clay’s natural texture and tonal depth, with exposed raw clay detail at the top.

Thoughtfully designed as a standalone accent or as part of a clustered installation, the Seed Pendant is ideal for cozy spaces—suspended above a nightstand, nestled into a reading nook, or grouped above dining tables and hospitality settings. Its angled opening casts a directional yet ambient glow, inviting stillness and presence. Hardware options include Satin Black (shown here), Polished Copper, Brushed Nickel, or Satin White, each paired with a coordinated fabric power cord to complement the overall design.
